This townhouse is a collaboration between Leroy Street Studio’s Architecture and Interiors departments, drawing inspiration from both modernist restraint and the intricate craftsmanship of a Romanesque Revival rowhouse.

Previously a multifamily residence, a portion of the third floor was completely cut away and the rear facade was extended to create a double-height living room on the parlor floor as part of the conversion back to a single-family home.

Balancing extravagance with simplicity, the design offers a grand entrance and cozy private rooms. The interiors utilize a palette of pale colors, crafted wall coverings, and durable materials. Cream walls and dark wood soften large spaces, creating warmth and invitation, while custom-made furniture adds dimension.
